Originally from Mt. Vernon, NY, I have worked as a dog walker and sitter in Chicago, IL for a company called Fancy Paws. I am fervent animal lover who believes we should honor our animal friends- Pets are complex, emotional beings who deserve love and patience. While you are away, your furry family member will be cuddled, played with and taken out on the town for exercise and stimulation - with the added benefit of returning to the comfort of their own home. I've been lucky to work with elderly and/or disabled pets (special potty instructions, administering medications, general temperament, etc.) For homestays I prefer to meet with new clients in person or via Skype/Facetime to see if we are good fit and to meet your pup(s). This give us both a chance to build repoire, trust and comfort. This can also be a time to discuss additional needs such as taking in mail or watering house plants.
