Looking for a reliable and fun pet sitter? Caring for pets run in my family. From rescuing and giving them a well-deserved bubble bath to finding a good home. I'm certified in first aid and preventative care for cats and dogs. Over the years, I've learned about their behavior, emotions and physical health from vet consultations and health travel pet inspectors. I also learned how to teach basic obedience the impossible became possible. Key elements: consistency, boundaries and patience. Not every dog or cat are the same. They have personality, strengths and different needs. I'm committed to look after your canine or feline so you can have peace of mind that they will enjoy a wonderful time that include fun, exercise and a loving companionship.

Yara was a very caring drop-in for my dog and cat, coming twice a day for 6 days. She got to know both of them quite well, commenting on their different personalities. When I need pet care again I will definitely contact Yara!
Yara is fantastic! She was so communicative, sent plenty of photos throughout the day, and we could tell she really understands dogs exceptionally well. We would absolutely love to work with her again and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog while in the Carmel area!

Yari is amazing. She’s punctual, loving, and her post walk briefs about Hilo are always detailed. I felt comfortable having her come by and walk my boy when I was at work.

In order to provide you with high quality services, it’s important to know about your pet’s health, behavior and routines. I love being around pets in general, but I don’t pet sit the following breeds without proper training at early age: American Pit Bull Terrier, Cane Corso, Gran Dane or rescued dogs with unpredictable behavior such as former fighters, aggressiveness or long history of trauma. It is unfortunate that not all canines are raised with adequate training, socialization and love. Contact me for any questions. I usually respond to clients inquiries within an hour. If we schedule to meet & greet, I can reassure you that I will meet with you according to the time/place that we both agreed. If you don’t receive a confirmation let’s say that we scheduled to meet & greet in three days, but you don’t receive a confirmation the day before our first meeting, please give me a call if you can. Do not assume that I’m not a committed pet sitter. First impression always counts; however, unexpected events may happen to anyone without exceptions. I can reassure you that I as soon as the unexpected event ends I will reach you out. Not calling back potential clients without an explanation or an apology is not the way I work. A typical day
Playtime with their favorite toys, fetch, run, get it and let go games to prevent boredom and to help stimulate their skills and physical health. I let them sniff around which helps to exercise their brain and leads to a calmer mood. I can play some tunes for dogs or cats to help them to relax or turn on the tv or radio to treat their senses to unique sights and sounds. It works for some pets to alleviate symptoms of separation anxiety. Walks are provided around client’s home, parks, trails and beach area (if permitted) within walking distance. I work with one client’s pets at a time, no multiple clients at the same time.

Availability
I have time to take your pets for walks, play, run, feed, potty breaks, bedtime story and supervision at your house. Upon request, I can watch your pets all day or stay over night at your home. At the moment, no pets during the day or over night at my place. I offer services (drop-in, home sitting, walk) in the following areas: Seaside, Monterey, Del Rey Oaks, Sand City, Pacific Grove, Marina, Carmel by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley, Carmel Highlands, Pebble Beach and Big Sur. You pay for high quality care. Your pet is in good hands.
