Pet care experience
My name is Yara, and I absolutely adore dogs! I have lived with and cared for pets since my early college days in 2010. I currently have four tiny chihuahuas of my own, all are around 10 years old or older, with two being seniors over 15. They are all low energy and are either sleeping or enjoying a snack in bed. Both of my dogs in the ten years range have special needs. One suffers from seizures and joint issues, while the other has anxiety due to being rescued from a breeding mill. Because of this I specialize in caring for older pets, as well as caring for pets who have some medical/special needs. I provide a safe, clean and calming space for pets, and tailor my services to the needs of each pup I watch. I do administer oral medications, but would like to note that I unfortunately do not administer injections or intravenous medications for safety reasons, as I do not have experience with this.

Best dog sitter I met by far being on this app for 5 years. Deacon stayed at Yara’s home. I not only got pictures that’s warmed my heart and helped my ease. But I got the best updates and communication though out, which was the reason I booked her based on previous reviews. I would HIGHLY recommend Yara. I would definitely be looking again. 100/10

Boarding (in my home or yours): * A variety of beds and freshly cleaned blankets * A low floor doggie couch for older pups who cant reach the regular sofa * A doggie stroller for older pets who can't walk far, but want to get out *Puzzles, games and toys for pups who might need more stimulation * Two doggie play pens available for nap time or overnight stays: one measures 34 square feet and the other measures 24 square feet * Doggie camera for the play pen, so that I can monitor the dogs from any part of my home or if I need to leave at any point * Small fenced in yard for frequent and easy potty breaks * Regular walks around the neighborhood * Four doggie friends (two senior pups and two middle aged pups who live for napping and snoozing) to keep your doggo company! * Regular updates, including pictures and videos, if you like! * You are of course welcome to bring any toys/supplies/snacks of your own if that is your pups preference! If your pup needs to be fed during the day, I do ask you bring their own food. Pick Up/Drop Off Services: * Dedicated dog car seat and harnesses (for small/medium sized dogs) * Safety belt that attaches harness to dog car seat, to ensure a safe ride from your home to mine

The most important thing to know ahead of time is the dog's temperament and behavioral needs. Are they anxious? Do they bark or growl when nervous? Do they try to bolt out of the door when you get home or are leaving? It would also be important to know if they are comfortable around other dogs, specifically if they would enjoy going to a dog park, or would prefer to stick to walks on their own.
A typical day
If you choose to board with me, I have a dog park located right next to my home, with separate sections for big and little dogs, as well as a large neighborhood to explore. I also have an assortment of dog games and puzzles for those who are treat motivated.
