I have the energy and enthusiasm for younger dogs, but also the calm steadiness for older dogs. I love all sizes. We own our own home, have no resident pets, have an unfenced yard, quick stroll away from the Arboretum, and I love hiking and being outdoors. Plus, many of my friends adopted rescues so I have experience being patient and calm in order to win over love and trust. It's ok if your pupper needs a bit of time, I'm happy to work on making sure both you and they feel comfortable. I am also a vetted foster parent with Last Hope K9, so my home and my care has been approved by the organization. I give animals in my care my full attention, so I only accept dogs to stay at our house when I am not fostering to keep everyone safe and happy. We take breaks from fostering often, so usually there are no dogs in my house/life and that's why I want to help you out via Rover! Want to make your trip easier for your dog? Well, how about they stay at home where they know the lay of the land and can take comfort in their surroundings? I'll come over and spend time with them. Playing, walking, and generally being their companion. This way, your dog(s) can have all of their favorite toys and beds nearby, and no need to stress them out with a new location. I'll come to them! I'm very affectionate, have lots of energy, but happy to sit down and read a book in the park with them as well. It's a win win!
