Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Yangyang. I’ve lived with cats and dogs and learned to take care of them since my teenage years. Currently, I have an Australian shepherd puppy named Maxine and a cat named Basil who are my best friends. Since I work from home, I help my friends and neighbors take care of their pets from time to time and finally decided to get on Rover. In addition to the routine tasks (dog walking, feeding, scooping for cats, etc), I’m experienced in giving medications from caring for my last pup through her battle with cancer. I’m also an advocate for positive reinforcement and will make sure to encourage good behaviors when I’m with your furbabies.

I had a great experience with Yangyang! She was able to accept my request on such a short notice-1 day!! I have two cats- one senior and one young and Yangyang took great care of them both I came back home to my cats completely relaxed and happy and almost like they never knew I was gone!!

I had a very pleasant experience. Yangyang visited the place on time with headsup messages. She took a good care of the cats by refilling food feeder and managing litter box. She spent a quality time with the cats to accompany them as well.
YangYang was great. She is detail oriented and goes above and beyond what you might expect. Highly recommended.

For dog walking, I’ll make sure to stick to your routine/instruction. I understand that dog parks can sometimes be a dangerous place and won’t take your pup there unless told to do so. Owning an active Aussie myself, I’m very attentive on walks and will try my best to make sure there’s no bad encounters and avoid letting them pick up stuff from the ground. I’m happy to do enrichment activities with your pup indoor to provide them with mental exercises. For cat sitting, I’ll make sure your cat is well taken care of depending on your needs.

If your pup is human or dog aggressive, unfortunately I won’t be able to take care of them. I would also ask you to inform me ahead of time if you have a reactive dog so that I can make sure to stay away potential triggers when we’re together.
A typical day
I’d love to take your pup on a neighborhood walk, play some fetch at a safe place, give them a lot of belly rubs, and make them an enrichment toy before I leave to help them stay entertained.

I have a full time job working from home with relatively flexible working hours so it’s fairly easy to arrange my schedule to fit in a few visits to your pet.
