Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Yana. I just moved to Santa Monica where I am working from home. In addition to my corporate job, I have been a pet care professional for 8 years. Just like your pup, I love long walks on the beach and dog walking on Rover has been a great way for me to do this in my new city! I grew up with German Shepherds, so I have a lot of experience handling/training large dogs, but I love animals of all sizes. I am very flexible and would love the opportunity to work with you. -Yana

I almost hate to write this review because then everyone will know how terrific Yana is and I want her only for Lacy. Yana is so good with my pup that I sometimes wonder if my pup wants to come back home with me when I return. Yana has taken care of Lacy three times and I actually can say that I don't have any guilty feeling for leaving her behind since I know she is being taken care of with lots of love and patience just what my Sr dog needs. Yana send lots of pictures and let's me know how Lacy is doing thoughout her stays. Yana is an extraordinary person and you can tell she she loves her pups especially Lacy!!

I prefer to watch pets in their owner's home especially when we are just getting to know each other. I find that for most pets, they feel most comfortable in their domain especially when their owner is away. In a client's home, I am respectful of the space and the rules that the humans have set (designated pet areas, furniture rules, etc..) and I am very cautious about securing doors and pet gates. Once a pet gets familiar with me, they are welcome in my home too. In my apartment pets are allowed in the living areas and my office where I have both pet and baby proofed. I live in an apartment complex with secure doors and hallways so the risk of bolting is low.

A typical day
I love playing ball and going to the dog park (only if you are comfortable with that of course). I also love to just snuggle up on the couch with a low key pup.
