I’m happy to serve the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood, and spend time with your wonderful dogs. I’ve been professionally working with dogs since 2019 - I started professionally dog sitting on Rover for over a year until the pandemic - feel free to read my reviews. Since the pandemic, I’ve volunteered with various dog rescues across Toronto and have fostered over 20 dogs. I love dogs of all kinds, and have managed several dogs who are still learning or have behavioural concerns. I’ve taught dogs how to walk on leash, be confident on walks and I understand dog body language to ensure your dog is not overwhelmed or over excited. I can walk your dog with mine, who loves dogs, or solo. Also open to house sitting with your pets of all shapes and sizes. I promise to have your house looking impeccable and have your pets be well looked after. Ideally I’d prefer to bring my pup Queenie along for the stay. She is a calm, relaxed small dog who is well adjusted and great at reading dog body language. If your dog is not a fan of company, I can arrange otherwise. Yamini was amazing! My father died and i needed a dog sitter last minute over the holidays. She stepped in and also helped to arrange another amazing dog sitter for the days she was unavailable. At our meet and greet she was clearly very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. She understands the needs of rescue dogs very well. My dog is quite anxious and can be challenging to sit for. Yamini was patient and understanding and her little dog Queenie that came along, helped Lola adjust too. Would definitely book again and recommend Yamini to others, without hesitation! Over and above care!!
Yamini was staying in our home to take care of our 2 small dogs (chihuahua and dachshund). 5 days into the dog sit, she called to say that our chihuahua, Lui, ate a peach pit. Peach pits are toxic for dogs and have to be retrieved immediately. As a result, Lui had to be taken into the Emergency Vet Hospital. They had to induce vomiting which did not bring up the peach pit. Then, a specialist vet had to be called in to perform endoscopic procedure to take out the peach pit. In the meantime, we were in the UK, and completely terrified as to what is going to happen to our little Lui. I had to cut my trip short and book an emergency return flight to get back home. When I arrived, our condo was left in a bit of a state. There were poop stains all over the rugs in every room. There were bit of poop still in some of the spots. Also because these stains were not cleaned in a timely manner, the stains are now impossible to remove and our rugs are ruined. Between our dog ending up in the emergency vet hospital, having to have an emergency procedure to remove a toxic peach pit, vet bills of over $3,000 and the completely ruined rugs, sadly, we simply can’t recommend Yamini.
Amazing experience. Dogs were well looked after and found them both safe and sound upon our return Yamini is easy to work with a genuinely great human. Thank you!
Yamini is always my first choice when looking for someone to watch my two dogs. Yamini is experienced, knowledgeable, and loving. Both my dogs have challenges that Yamini handles with care and understanding. In addition, Yamini's own dog Queenie is a sweet girl who offers a companion for both playing and chilling - she has even won over my reactive dog! Being a devoted dog parent, Yamini understands how stressful it can be to leave your dogs with someone else (both for the human and for the dog), and provides me with updates to make me feel better and give me peace of mind that my dogs are well taken care of. Whenever I leave my dogs with Yamini, I know I leave them in the best hands possible.

I’m currently not sitting dogs at my home, but feel comfortable bringing them around if we need to decompress or any other reason. My home is dog proof and there is plenty of space. Must be good with stairs or be able to be carried if so. For your home, I’m a very hands-on carer who understands that your dog might be stressed from the transition. Having fostered, I know how to comfort dogs just enough while letting them decompress on their own to be their confident selves again. I typically don’t make many plans when house sitting and spend tons of time with your dogs, but will update on my calendar on a case by case basis, as I will usually still be walking dogs or attending rescue events.

We typically ask for: - comfort with busy streets, strangers, dogs or preferred routes - any behavioural concerns (ie reactivity, bite history, separation anxiety etc) - Any allergies or intolerances - If they take treats or not during walks
A typical day
I love taking my dogs for walks at all the nice parks nearby. We also have great fenced dog parks in the area for all types of energy levels, but i prefer to be very comfortable with a dog before taking them off leash.

I am currently very flexible schedule wise and can accommodate most walking times, especially during the 9-5pm office rush. I currently walk my dog 3-4x a day and happy to have your dogs join or be separate.
