Pet care experience
I have been in relationship with animals since I was 8 years old. I grew up with 3 dogs and 7 feral cats. I was known by my friends to take in hurt or feral kitties so I was quickly given the nickname “crazy cat lady” in high school. I have experience volunteering in animal shelters, hanging out with loved ones fur babies while they are on vacation, loving on my own animal relatives, caring for exotic pets (rats and snakes), tending to elder animals, working with farm animals, and be-friending my neighborhood cats. I’ve done it all :) P.S. I realize my photos might make me seem younger than I appear but I can assure you that I am the ripe age of 28 :-)

I feel privileged to be able to write this testimony for Yadira. Being a busy single business woman, it is difficult to find comfort in strangers in today's world. Not only letting them into your safe space (your home) but also caring for those you care for and love most. I have trusted Yadira in not only taking care of my 3 dogs (Pebbles, Bisco and Lola) but also my only grandchild off and on for the past 10 years. All animals love her, she is trustworthy and genuinely cares for all living things. She conducts herself professionally in all workspaces. I have seen Yadira in the past decade become more like family to those she sits for (animal or little human) and add a light to people’s lives who allow her in. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for pets in my own home as I live in an apartment and they tend to be on the stricter side with animal friends. However, I am happy to respectfully and mindfully be in your space and honor whatever house agreements we come up with together. I understand that the home is a sacred space and it is a privilege and a gift to be trusted not only to be with your fur baby but also to coexist with them in your home.

A typical day
I am an avid hiker so your furry love and I will be active and visit different trails. Whether it’s going to Joaquin Miller and saying hi to the Redwoods or going to Berkeley Bulb and saying hi to the waters.

I have the privilege to WFH so my schedule is very flexible. I am required to be in person at times but I’m more consistently at home more than anything.
