Pet care experience
I'm a kind-hearted person who loves all animals. I've spent the past 10 years caring for cousins', siblings', and grandparents' pets as the unofficial family pet sitter. I'm calm and patient with animals, and I have a natural nurturing side that has made me my family's first choice in caring for their pets if they ever became ill. I am also told, often, that I spoil my own animals, which doesn't compute with me because all I do is show them the love they deserve, right? I'm fairly active, so keeping up with your pup should be no issue for me! I get almost as excited as the dog when it comes time to play fetch or even just run around in the yard. After all that energy is spent, of course they would get much-needed cuddles.

Yadira did a great job of providing some company to my extremely needy cat and made sure he always had food and fresh water.
Yadira has watched my Penny multiple times. Penny gets so excited when Yadira comes over, like she knows that she will be having a fun day. Yadira always made sure to stick to Penny’s schedule, and was very flexible working with my own schedule. Penny is a lab/pitbull mix, so I know she can be intimidating, but Yadira always treated her like the happy puppy she really is!
Yadira has been a lifesaver more than once. She’s taken care of my dog, Jell-O, and cat, Happy, on multiple occasions (sometimes last minute), and not once have I ever had a complaint. She looked after them as if they were her own, and if I was on a long trip out of town, she’d send me multiple daily pictures of my babies. There was never a doubt in my mind that they were in very good hands.

Prior to sitting, I would like to know: - are they startled or in any way triggered by certain actions, noises, smells, etc. - what type of games do they like to play - habits that I need to look out for and will have to correct - quirks they may have that might alarm me, but are completely normal and nothing to worry about - are they territorial about certain areas or things - do they have food aggression - do they like pulling on the leash - are they escape artists - areas on their body where pats are NOT appreciated - commands you use such as sit, stay, heel, etc.
A typical day
Depending on their energy levels, I'd love to take them to local parks. I know some dogs love the fresh air and will run around sniffing everything their world has to offer. I love playing fetch with them or even running around with them. For the more lowkey dogs, a nice little trot around their home or apartment complex is nice; usually we go back home and play tug-of-war with their rope toys or mini soccer with their bouncy balls.

I work part-time, so my days are pretty open to care for your fur babies! I'll be available most weekends, so no worries if you need a weekend getaway.
