Availability
I currently work from home on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for pets. The only time constraints I have are school drop-off and pick-up for my children, but outside of that, I can adjust my availability to meet your pet’s needs. On weekends, my family and I occasionally go out together, but we always return home within 6 hours. This schedule ensures that your pet will receive attentive care and companionship throughout their stay.

I provide attentive and personalized care based on each pet’s needs, whether in my home or the client’s home. • In My Home: Pets will have a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment with plenty of affection, playtime, and regular potty breaks. I follow their usual routine to ensure a stress-free stay, including feeding, walks, and any special care they require. • In the Client’s Home: I respect each pet’s routine and provide care as if they were my own. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box maintenance, and any additional care such as administering medication. I also provide regular updates with photos to keep owners informed and reassured. Regardless of the service, I ensure pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Information Ya-Han H. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to gather important information to ensure they receive the best possible care. Here are a few key things I ask about: • Daily Routine: Feeding schedule, walk times, preferred activities, and sleep habits. • Health & Medical Needs: Any medications, allergies, or health conditions I should be aware of. • Behavior & Temperament: How they interact with new people and other animals, any fears or triggers (e.g., loud noises, strangers), and any behavioral quirks. • Training & Commands: Basic commands they know, leash manners, and house rules (e.g., allowed on furniture or not). • Emergency Contacts: Vet information and preferred contact in case of an emergency. Knowing these details helps me provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for both the pet and their owner.
A typical day
I make sure pets have fun, engaging activities based on their personality and energy level. • Dogs: I take them for walks around the neighborhood and, on nice days, bring them to a nearby park for some running and sunshine. At home, I keep them entertained with interactive toys, playtime, and even casual conversations to make them feel comfortable and happy. • Cats: I engage them with toys, laser pointers, and interactive play sessions to keep them active and stimulated. For more independent cats, I respect their space while ensuring they receive the attention and care they need. Every pet gets personalized attention to ensure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while in my care.

Pet care experience
🐾 About Me Hi, I’m Ya-Han! I am an experienced pet caregiver offering Exclusive, One-Household-Only Boarding in a safe, loving environment. With over 15 years of experience (including 5 years at a pet store), I provide a level of care that goes beyond standard sitting. ❤️ Attentive & Experienced Care Because I prioritize caring for one family's pets at a time, I can give your fur baby my full attention. Detail-Oriented: My experience allows me to notice the little things—like changes in appetite, mood, or bathroom habits—so I can catch any issues early. Special Needs: I am very comfortable caring for senior dogs and young puppies (even newborns). Whether it's giving medications (including injections), preparing special meals, or providing mobility support for arthritic seniors, I’m happy to help. Peace of Mind: You can relax knowing your pet is being watched over by someone who truly understands their health and well-being. My Background: Experience: 15+ years of pet care, including 5 years at a pet store where I provided grooming services (bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning). Knowledge: I completed a pet nutrition training program with Hill’s, giving me insight into balanced diets and pet health. ⸻ 📌 Services I Offer ✅ 🏡 Exclusive Care Policy Standard: I prioritize caring for pets from one household at a time to ensure your pet receives my 100% undivided attention and doesn't feel stressed by strange dogs. Exception: I am open to hosting pets from different households ONLY if both owners explicitly agree. In such cases, compatibility and safety will be strictly assessed. Note: I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so your pet can enjoy a quiet, stress-free environment. ✅ 🥩 Freshly Cooked Meals – No Extra Charge If needed, I can prepare fresh, homemade meals for your pet at no additional cost! ✅ 📝 Daily Updates I love sharing photos and updates about meals, walks, and special moments. ✅ 🗣 Languages Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) Fluent in English (Listening & Reading) ⸻ ⏰ Schedule & Availability 📍 Standard Drop-off / Pick-up: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM (An additional fee of $10 per hour applies for pick-ups or drop-offs earlier or later than the scheduled time.) 🚫 School Run Unavailable Times: Please kindly avoid scheduling Drop-off/Pick-up during these brief windows: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:30 AM – 9:40 AM & 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Wed: 8:30 AM – 9:40 AM & 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM 🌟 My Daily Availability: During weekdays, I am home most of the time except for school runs. On weekends, my family and I may go out, but we never leave pets alone for more than 6 hours. This ensures your pet receives consistent companionship. ⸻ 🐾 Safety & Large Dog Policy Since I have young children at home, safety is my top priority. I accept large or giant breed dogs only if they are well-trained, calm, and have no history of aggression. Unfortunately, breeds with strong guarding instincts may not be suitable for my home environment. Thank you for your understanding! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member. ❤️

Ya-Han is a great pet sitter! She’s very detailed oriented and she follows all the instructions provided to her. I feel lucky to have her as my first Rover pet sitter!

Ya-Han and her family are very nice and great at accommodating our need for the two cats! Very flexible and understanding in terms of scheduling. Lots of play time and picture/video sent to us over the period of drop-ins. Highly recommended!
