Pet care experience
**Currently deployed overseas as of October 1 2023** I've cared for many animals since I was young to include; Dogs, Cats, Guinea Pigs, Mice, Rabbits, Hamsters, Ferrets, Fish, & Birds (I promise not all at once). I love animals and strongly believe they are part of the family. As someone in the military, we are often tasked with assignments where we cannot take our pets and I would treat your pet the same way I'd want my pet to be treated if I were away. Xochil was a great sitter for my Sophie! Sophie is usually shy but came out of hiding each time Xochil visited. Xochil is dependable and flexible and was there each time scheduled even when I rescheduled. I would highly recommend her to care for your pet!
Xochil is not only professional but also incredibly personable and caring towards my dog Sonic. She went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and healthy. She provided daily updates and pictures of him, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear that she was dedicated to making sure Sonic received the best care possible. She was always prompt in responding to my messages and was very flexible in accommodating my needs. Xochil truly cares about the well-being of animals and is passionate about her work. I will definitely be using her services again in the future."
Xochil has been a great and loving pet sitter. She carefully cared for my tank of tropical fish for over 6 months while I was away. Tank was cleaned and fish were placed into separate holding tanks until cleaning process was complete. All of which she carefully researched and executed without me asking! She fed them and sent pics so I can see them. She was great and 10/10 recommend for all pets!
Xochil has taken great care of cat Noreen, she brushes her, gives her a lot of attention and makes sure her bowl is always full and litter box always clean.

I live in an apartment and the pet will have full access to my home. If they need to be crated or separated while I am at work, there is plenty of space for them. I live in a beach town and am just a 10 minute walk from the boardwalk which would be great for walks & getting out! All of my friends call me the crazy cat lady because I love cats and have been leash training my cat so I know how important it is to properly adjust harnesses/leashes to your pet so that it does not come loose. I also keep my pet crated & restrained with a seatbelt while in the car as I typically drive 2 hrs to South Jersey with my cat, so should I need to transport your animal, you can trust me!

A typical day
You can expect your fur baby to enjoy long walks on the beach...Seriously! I live just a couple blocks from the beach and we could spend some time at the boardwalk or at a local dog park. While indoors, I love playing "hide and seek" with my cat which I know your dog will love too!

Availability
I currently work only 10 minutes from my job and though I do not currently come home during my lunch break, I could if I needed to in order to care for your pet! I have military drill once a month and am away for one night - I leave my cat alone for that night but I understand if you would not be comfortable and I will tell you if that weekend is my drill weekend!
