Hello, we are Stuart and Xinzhou(Laura), We have been caring for pets all our lives - dogs, cats, rabbits, and even on one occasion, gorillas (no really!) Stuart has been a dog parent for the last 8 years to an adorable schnauzer, whose health challenges have taught us the true meaning of love and care. But we also understand the difficulties of balancing our working and social lives with our care for our pet friends. It’s a challenge to give them the love and attention they need at all times, so we’re here to help you!

When you meet someone whose love and care for dogs can penetrate the soul, you know you have encountered a truly special animal lover. I am fortunate to know such a friend, Xinzhou Li. Her affection and understanding of dogs have deeply influenced me and everyone around us. In her presence, whether as a pet owner or an advocate for animal welfare, she displays an unmatched passion and commitment. Her knowledge of dogs is not limited to basic care. From nutrition to training, from daily grooming to behavior modification, she always offers professional and practical advice. What's even more precious is her ability to fully understand and respect the individuality and needs of each dog, enabling her to provide the most suitable care. Her home is a haven filled with love for all dogs. Whenever there is a dog in need of temporary foster care, she always extends a hand without hesitation. Her patience and meticulousness teach these dogs to trust humans again, and many dogs have found permanent homes with her help.
I can highly recommend Xinzhou as a very caring and loving pet carer. She has experience looking after Oscar, my miniature schnauzer. I can leave him with her and know that my little dog will be well looked after, walked regularly , fed , played with and generally spoiled with plenty of attention!

Safety is our priority - both inside and outside. We have a spacious home with plenty of room to explore, play with toys, and with soft furniture to lounge on. But we make sure there are no dangers lurking at floor level and on counter surfaces! Particularly edible dangers for our hungry pet friends. Our resident schnauzer is very adventurous and has taught us about the need to keep exterior doors closed at all time. We close the porch door when taking deliveries - a classic escape strategy! When we are out on walks, we make sure harnesses are securely fastened, that collars are on, that we take well trodden paths with our lead on at all times, that we only cross roads at designated crossings, and we give any unknown dogs (and people) plenty of space. Safety first!

A typical day
Together, we will explore a new neighbourhood, be social with other owners and dogs that we know well, and, of course, there is a chance to befriend our guy, Oscar!

Availability
We currently work part-time from home so there is plenty of time for walks, play, shoulder scratches, belly rubs, and even the occasional tasty treat!
