Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember. I’ve been on rover consistently for about 2 years now and love it! Currently looking to start caring for animals in my own home! Would be a great way to continue my rover journey as a parent. I really enjoy getting to know an animal and catering to their unique needs. I’m a new mom and recently started graduate school courses to become an art teacher. I really miss having a dog of my own and would love caring for others in my spare time. I have experience with high energy dogs that love to fetch or walk and just as equally I can care for an elderly dog who is a little slower or has hearing and vision impairments. I’m young and in shape and ready to handle anything! I would love to meet your animal(s) and give them the attention they deserve.

Excellent, Xie had to deal with a2-yr old foster puppy while I am in a cast. She handled Ivy so well, that Ivy waited for her both times a day with great excitement.

When I go into a client’s home I aim to disrupt as little as possible. So I leave everything as I found it, behave calmly and try to stick closely to the routine relayed to me by the owner.

Before a visit I’d like to know how your pet reacts to other dogs or humans if we come across them on a walk. Also a run down of their temperament is handy so I know how much attention I need to give while you’re away.
A typical day
My favorite part of the job is getting to play with your pet! For dogs I’ll take them for walks, play with their favorite toys and run around in the backyard. For young cats I love to get out the fishing pole or laser to get their energy out.

Availability
At home full time with my daughter and doing graduate courses so if your dog is good with children I am available to give them love and attention. I’m currently looking to take on some walking also. My partner and family has a pretty flexible schedule as well when it comes to watching my daughter. If your pet is comfortable though would love to bring her along for a walk with me.
