Will work for purrs and wags: My name is Xeque, pronounced like saying the letter "X" I grew up surrounded by animals, giving me lifelong experience caring for a wide variety of cats, dogs, and other animals of various ages, sizes and needs. . I have had cats since I was born, and took part in a lot of care and play with my grandparent's dogs during my childhood. I get along with most animals naturally. I have a calm and patient personality that helps a majority of animals feel safe. I am experienced with anxious animals, special needs and elderly animals, and walking high energy dogs that can be strong and challenging to walk for some. I am an active outdoorsy person so I am good with animals that have lots of energy. I do dog walks and drop ins for both cats and dogs. If you have animals besides cats and dogs, let's talk! I am eager to meet your animal friends to see if we are the Purr-fect match!

I am at their service, just as much as I will be providing the service to you for their care. I will make sure they get plenty of play and loving attention as much as other basic needs such as walking, being let outside, feeding, cleaning, etc. Since I currently only do drop ins and walks, care will be basic. I will follow all of owners instructions, in addition to making sure I socialize/play with them. I am diligent to fill out the rover card report each visit, but feel free to let me know if you feel better being texted additional info and photos during the visit. I make sure I look out for your animals the same I would want someone to care about mine, so I typically will make sure I communicate extra and give updates during visits additional to the Rover card with new clients. Many new clients and new Rover users prefer extra photos and text updates to put them at ease, so I am happy to accommodate.

I wish to learn your animal friend’s usual routine, including keeping consistent with any current training/positive behavioral reinforcements, and any important information about their personality that is crucial to their comfort and physical and emotional well-being. It is important for your animals to feel safe, but especially important if your animal friend has any disabilities, medical conditions, or previous trauma that has shaped their behavior, so that I know what their specific needs are. I wish to know of any specific health conditions/medical needs, challenging personality traits or behaviors, what to expect around other dogs, other animals, and children/other people possibly encountered on walks, and anything else required to make sure that I keep everyone involved safe.
A typical day
At the moment, I only do drop ins and walks. I enjoy interacting with animals and will be sure they get attention and play during drop ins. Typically the dogs I walk have a routine they prefer and so I follow their routine. I enjoy cuddling with extra snuggly animals that enjoy that attention.

I am a budding freelance writer working from home, so my time is relatively flexible. My schedule will vary from time to time, but I am willing to work with pet parents on what’s best for their animals.
