Hello! My name is Xenya, and I have loved all kinds of animals & pets ever since I can remember! I believe animals are the purist forms of life on earth and should be treated as such! Fur-babies/forever best friends are members of the family that should always be loved, cherished, valued, and cared for. I enjoy interacting with animals of all types, breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I love getting to know and spending time with every animal I meet! I am also fully vaccinated and boosted.😊 A little about me- I graduated from Bellevue College with my AA and then transferred to Western Washington University and graduated in 2020 with a BA. I have always had a passion for animals since I was little, and worked with/cared for pets part-time while in middle school, high school and college. I am experienced in dog walking, leash training, house sitting, and taking care of pups, as well as cats, birds, fish, bunnies, rodents, and reptiles. I am very clean, detail oriented, observant, and follow direction well. I have regularly cared for family and friends animals as well as formerly worked for Frolic Pet Services. At Frolic I spent a full two weeks training on how to interact/read/work with animals, what to do in case of emergencies, how to write a thorough report after each visit with details/pictures, animal CPR, keep an environment tidy, and gained lots of personal experience with pets of all different sizes, ages, and demeanors. I keep this knowledge with me as I care for pets currently. I treat every animal I work with as if they were my own! Personally, I enjoy being outside, long walks, hiking, the soaking up the sun and the beautiful nature all around us. I have my own fur baby named Keanu who is a golden, short hair dachshund mixed with a Staffordshire terrier, and possibly part chihuahua. I adopted him from the Seattle Humane Society in 2016 when he was about 8 months old and have been in-love with him ever since! He has a very calm, cuddly, goofy, and has a loving personalty. He can also be shy at times, and very energetic at others. He is adored and spoiled by my friends and family- as all pets should be! Since having him in my life he has taught me how to be a better animal parent and caretaker. I look forward to meeting, spending time, looking after, caring for, and showering your best-furfriend with lots of love! I work part time on Rover to care for your animals however you and they may need! I am very flexible though so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions about scheduling, timing, or availability! I always make an effort to get to know, socialize, bond, and care for each pet I have the pleasure in meeting. At first I slowly and calmly introduce myself, and then I personalize my approach to each animal based on your their personalty and needs to make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while we are together!
