Does your dog need more than just a short walk? I'm available rain, shine, or snow, for early morning (5-8 AM) and evening runs and hikes in the SLC Foothills (i.e. Mt. Wire, The Living Room, Shoreline Trail, Grandeur Peak, etc). Distance, intensity, duration, and location are all tailored. On-leash unless requested otherwise. Happy to help you teach your dog the fundamentals (i.e. come, stay, loose leash walking). If you prefer, I like to pay close attention to behavior in order to be sure that good behavior is rewarded, while helping to phase out undesirable behavior through patience, precise timing, and setting them up for success. I've been around dogs my entire life. In 2016, I took home the sweetest and most loving nightmare of a 3 year old lab/put mix that had spent 6 months in a shelter. She was considered "unadoptable" due to limitless energy, excitement, and a complete lack of training. We had a rough first week together with little sleep, as well as the knocking out of my front tooth by a rouge head-butt during our first session of fetch training. Since then, I've developed a routine that provides her with plenty of exercise, and have trained her to have excellent recall, loose leash walking ability, and to generally be a particularly well-behaved dog.
