Pet care experience
I am a senior veterinary student at K-State and have worked in veterinary clinics since I was 15 years old. I am a Fear-Free Certified Professional and am experienced with gentle dog handling and training techniques. I am trained to administer medications and performing medical evaluations, and can be trusted to pay close attention to the health and well-being of your loved ones. I have two large energetic dogs of my own, both of whom I raised from puppyhood. If you have a young pup I am happy to assist with puppy care and training as well as any other needs your little one may have. I love dogs of all ages and sizes and will accommodate any special needs upon request.

I have known Wyconda Walstrom all her life. I have witnessed her love of animals and desire to care for them from the time she was born. Throughout her life Wyconda has rescued and adopted several animals including cats, dogs, horses, and mini donkeys. She is very sensitive to the needs of animals and can communicate well with them. She has aspired to become a veterinarian and currently is a fourth year veterinary student planning to extend her program to include more specialty training. Wyconda currently has three cats and two dogs of her own. She gives particular attention to each one's individual nutritional and medical needs. Wyconda has a pleasant personality and is a joy for both people and animals to work with.
Wyconda is amazing. Not only is she super passionate about animals and their well being (she is actually pursuing veterinary school right now!), I have known Wyconda for over 15 years and she is a dear friend of mine. She is always someone I would text if something was off with our family’s dog, and she always gave us loving and helpful feedback. I’ve also been on several walks with her own dogs and they’re always filled with fun, laughter, and joy for the doggies.. :)) She also makes sure dogs get to release their energy through long walks or runs for the energetic types, while facilitating nurturing and gentle energy with those with a few more years on them or in special needs situations. Bonus: She's also a phenomenal dog trainer, if you're seeking help training your dog(s) too! Anyone who gets to have Wyconda care after their dog will be blessed with a loving, gentle, very aware & present, and thorough dog sitter. ☀️ 🙌🏼☀️

My furry family includes 3 cats and 2 goldendoodles, both of whom are very friendly and love other dogs. If your dog would like to stay with us, they must have experience living peacefully with cats and other dogs.

A typical day
I have a large fenced in yard and plenty of room in the house for your dog to play! My two goldendoodles love to make new doggy friends and are fantastic playmates. They are very well behaved and will keep your pup active and having fun. I live near a large park where we can go for walks if your dog likes to get out for a change of scenery.
