Vet Tech and animal lover!
Pet care experience
I am a veterinary technician that’s taking a break from the vet science career as I focus on school—vet school, of course! I have had dogs all my life, and worked in clinics since I was 16. I have had an active role in my pets lives since I was 12, with myself becoming the sole caregiver of my animals. I’ve owned dogs all my life, and am experienced with their medical care as well. I can walk, feed, administer medicine, give first aid, and provide routine care such as nail trims, baths, and brushings to any dog.
Reviews
Wren was ok, but slightly flaky, and she left the room a complete mess, and drank all of the Gatorade in my refrigerator without asking, letting me know, etc. I think she did an ok job, and I believe she was here when she was supposed to be and my dogs were happy and healthy when I got home
Wren was communicative and easy to reach before and during the visit. She came for a quick meet and greet and seemed to be versed in taking care of my cat. During the visit she sent me daily pictures / videos and updates, which I appreciated. I was disappointed however to see my food was eaten without permission or replacing, and there was some dishes / trash left out when I got back.
Wren was a great rover & house guest. She was easy to communicate with, sent photos throughout her stay and left our place in great condition. Would hire again!
Wren was fabulous! We needed help with something outside the ordinary and they didn't miss a beat and offered their help and flexibility! They communicated great and Jester loved saying hi every day.

Safety, trust & environment
As a former vet tech, I take pet safety extremely seriously. I don’t allow unfamiliar pets to interact under any circumstances not approved by the pet parent, I stick to prescribed schedules and routines, and I work hard to make sure accidents and mishaps don’t happen in the first place.
Information Wren L. would like to know about your pet
There are several things I like to know about dogs before I take them in. Here they are: If your dog takes medicine, and if they do, how to administer (I can administer most types because I was trained as a vet tech) Any allergies, medical alerts, or special needs How often they need to be let out (default is every 2-3 hours) If they are up to date on shots and vet care If you would like me to do extra routine care such as nail trims or teeth brushing (I can do both) If your dog has any “triggers”, such as food aggression, bad leash manners, or is reactive to a certain gender or type of person.
A typical day
NOTE: I am physically disabled and cannot always accommodate every booking request. I used to work Rover a lot more intensely and it was detrimental to my health, so now I do it more on the side in addition to UberEats. I am still able to take care of your pet with the absolute gold standard of care, including medically complex and special needs animals! I just cannot do things like long frequent walks, extremely high energy dogs, and/or intensely full schedules. Please be patient with me, thank you!

Availability
Pets always comes first—before I eat, leave the house, or do anything for myself, I ensure the pets in my care have their needs fully met. I never leave for more than 6 hours at a time, and I always make sure to keep the owner up to date with daily happenings with their beloved pet. I am currently self-employed, so Rover is nearly full time work for me! I only offer drop in visits for now, so here is a breakdown of how both work! Drop-in visits are 30-60 minute visits with your pet to essentially speedrun the pet care process. Ideal for self sufficient cats and dogs who only need once or twice daily feedings and walks. I would be feeding, watering, walking, and loving on your fur baby for the entire time, and I can do this up to three times a day.
