Pets of any age welcome!

Pet care experience

When I was 17, I started dogsitting for a neighbor of mine who had an senior, deaf dog that needed extra care and attention. I saw her through to the rainbow bridge and since then, I’ve had gigs taking care of rowdy Labrador puppies, and a beagle mix. I had to take a break because of moving states, but now I’m setting my roots here in Palm Springs, more than happy to serve in this area. Special skills: Shutting down fights between dogs, Puppy behavioral training, Senior care as well as disabled care (I am disabled, so I feel very in tune with them) Giving lots of loving!

They were wonderful, on time, and provided updates. Thank you for feeding my kitties. Would definitely book again!

Wren took very good care of our baby while we were away for a whole week. Highly recommended.

Wren is very a loving pet parent who cares deeply for their own pet. They’re responsible, caring, and hard working when it comes to caring for others furbabies.

Safety, trust & environment

I’ve raised my precious cat, Toad, to be outgoing, affectionate, and cuddly, and I believe it was reinforced through positive behaviors I train her with. I’ll do the same with any pet, and I’m more than happy to also provide minimal housework such as picking up waste or changing litter at no additional cost. A clean home is a home to thrive in, after all. I also adore playtime with pets, but I’m also ready to relax with those that prefer cuddles and TV time. Whatever the situation calls for, I’ll be sure to leave you and your dear pets satisfied!

Information Wren G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has trouble doing certain things, is disabled, or is anxious around strangers. I will only deny larger breeds with stranger anxiety as I’ve been bitten by a friend’s Great Dane before during introduction (this dog had such high anxiety that it needed medicine 3 times a day).

A typical day

I’ll use any and all toys available when the pets are active and ready to play, in fact I might bring some of my own if allowed since I have a variety of cat toys and dog toys. If a pet is more calm and needs space or wants to cuddle, I find that putting on a movie or looking out of a window together gets them to relax.
