We love dogs! I am in NYC. We also have a house in Southern Vermont where boarding can also be provided, just two blocks to a trail where I can walk your dog as needed every day. We also have a fenced in yard, so your dog can have time outside worry free, though I’d still supervise hi,/her when in the yard. However, I am in the city since 2019 and can offer boarding in Astoria, Queens, 5 blocks away from Astoria park where your dog would be walked. Your dog must be up to date on his or her rabies shot, you must provide proof of rabies shot date. No dogs will be allowed without their rabies shot, and no sick dogs will be allowed on premises. Your dog must be house trained.

In Astoria, I have an apartment with no yard, but we are in close proximity to Astoria Park where I’d take your dog on walks. I will take your dog on walks during the hours you usually walk your dog to provide a sense of stability and will also add walks as needed. When housesitting, I will walk your dog where you usually walk him/her so I can provide stability and a routine that your dog is already used to. Can provide treats if you would like only, you should provide me with treats their dog likes, and water as needed or as you feel your dog will need, especially during the summer months I will have water handy for your dog during their walks.

If there is anything that scares your dog, sometimes dogs are scared of other dogs, that will be important to know. If they are not social with other dogs will also be important to know. Are they friendly? Are they kid friendly? Do they tend to get very tired on their walks?Do they enjoy an activity you would like included during their stay? Anything that you think your dog could benefit from during their stay is something that you should share with me.

Astoria Park is a special place providing green areas for dogs to enjoy. As a city pet owner once, I know city dogs will also enjoy walking around the neighborhood, so I will embrace the owner’s request on what their dog enjoys most.

I manage my own schedule, and do not work when I look after dogs. I will exclusively look after your dog. They will have companionship and several walks throughout the day as needed.
