Happy to care for loving pups!
Pet care experience
I've helped care for all sorts of puppies and elder dogs since I was 12, but lived with dogs all my life, from watching the births of 2 puppy litters and potty training the youngest, to giving elder dogs on their last legs medicine and happy days in the sun. I've sat in on training of a stubborn German Shepherd and helped get her from jumping and barking at household members to greeting friends off leash in the front yard. I'm always learning more about different dog breeds intelligence, how to care for them, and how to train them. I have recently moved to Bellingham and am still currently looking for a new job working with pets, so for now I have all week all hours available to get to know your pup and give them plenty of attention, so long as they are cat friendly :) I do not have a fenced yard or a dog crate, but do have the space for a crate if needed. I live near dog parks and beaches. I have a small/medium dog bed, a small dog leash, and a small food/water connected dish. Owner must provide enough dog food, toys, and any other necessities. I own 2 small indoor cats who are experienced with small dogs and mostly keep to themselves, dog must be ok with cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have 2 curious cats who are safe with dogs. No fence around my yard(apartment). I have a leash and spare food/water dish, and a very small kennel but do not intend on using it for any dog bigger than a chihuahua and only if owner allows it. Owner is expected to provide all food, toys, treats, and any special items dog may require such as medicine, bed, blanket, or lead.

Information Winter S. would like to know about your pet
I'd appreciate being notified of any special needs or behaviors notable from your dog, if they have anxiety, vomiting issues, allergies, etc. If they are aggressive toward kids that is fine here so long as they dont bark at the sight or sound of a kid nearby, but still need to know before hand. Any other aggression-towards other dogs, cats, or people- is not allowed. That does not mean I wont care for a misunderstood dog such as a pitbull, so long as its not a bigger one. And, of course, if they bark a lot I cannot do that either, if they just bark occasionally but can easily quiet down then its ok!
A typical day
Owners can provide any toys for their dog when dropping them off and I will utilize those at home, dog parks, or beaches where dogs are allowed. We can play fetch, tug of war, hide and go seek with treats or toys if they know sit, stay, and break commands. If they are obedient around other dogs and owners give permission, I love going to dog parks and keep a good eye on the dog to ensure they are safe. Running along a beach is always fun
