I was employed at the humane society of Ventura county as an adoption counselor/kennel attendant from 2010-15. I loved working with animals so much & miss it a lot . While working there I had many regular petsitting / walking clients outside of the shelter that I adored caring for. I usually petsit at the clients houses as I rent a room. I do drop ins / overnights. I offer dog walking as well. I have cared for cats, dogs, bunnies. Since moving from Ojai to Oxnard I am looking to start back up working with animals again since it was something that kept me so happy on a daily basis. I promise to care your child as if it was my own while you’re away.

My dogs loved Willow! It’s not easy caring for two out of control Jack Russells but Willow did it. She is kind, patient and gentle with the dogs and very attentive to their needs. Her years of Shelter experience serve her well when caring for all types, ages, breeds and species of animals. Willow is most trustworthy and has spent weeks at a time staying with my dogs, watching the house, watering the landscaping and generally caring for the property. I would recommend her to everyone! She is a special young lady.
Willow went above and beyond to help me with the unfortunate task of adopting out my neighbors 2 dogs and 2 cats due to failing health. She came to my home with crates and blankets and with TLC she helped transport the pets to the Ojai Animal Shelter 30 miles away. She was calm and collected and knew what the pets needed to make their transition safe, secure, and as non-traumatic as possible for them. I learned that she was employed at the Ojai Shelter as an Animal Consultant and still volunteers her service. Her repoir with animals is calm and collected and I would trust my own pets to her care.
Willow is a kind, animal loving responsible lady. We had her stay at our home and watch after our 2 giant, slobbery babies. She pay carful attention to our requests for the dogs made sure our baby with epilepsy was properly medicated each day. She will be my go to for any doggie needs...walking, sitting, loving!
I’ve know Willow for 6 Years. We worked together at the Humane Society of Ventura Country. She was well loved while working there and her love of animals showed in everything she did from working in the office to working with the animals in the kennels. Her love of animals and her giving nature is why she has been my house sitter for the last 6 Years. I never worry when Willow is taking care of my dogs because I know they are safe with her. She treats them as I do.
