I spent most of my early years rescuing animals from bad homes and spent a lot of time next to a vet learning every trick in the book. I am a mom of a toddler, I work from home, and school from home. I have experience with animals of all kinds, all ages, and all sizes. I’m well versed in handling sick animals. I have an older Australian Shepherd, Brizzbee, who is one of the smartest dogs I’ve ever owned, an almost 2 year old hyper German Shepherd pup named Echo who is great paired with high energy pups, and my little baby GSD Liberty who will be competing in sports in her coming years. Each day you will receive an update and a facebook worthy photo or two of every dog enjoying their time and I will tell you about experiences they had good or bad. Thanks We do accept multiple families so because of that I do require a copy of vaccinations for your pups safety as well as mine and other pups who spend time in our home. I do accept un-fixed animals, however I do NOT accept un-fixed animals of opposite genders at the same time to prevent accidents. My home is split between a calm space and a space to exercise and have fun, breaks are a necessity to keep a pup happy, healthy, and stress-free so there will be scheduled downtime and depending on who is staying during that time, time allowed for the hyper pups to exercise and time for our calmer babies to get their exercise in an more mellow way. One thing I do ask is that you be open about your pups behavior, even if it is negative. I have worked with a lot of dogs of all kinds of behavior so I understand. While this may play a role in my decision whether to host your pup or not, it is most important to me to keep a safe environment. I do have wonderful recommendations for places that are more than comfortable handling a pup with aggression or big behavioral issues as well as providing the training to help fix those issues during that stay. I have a fenced yard, and years in experience with behavior, puppies, and even vet med. I have lots of knowledge and can promise you will feel most comfortable having your dog here.
