Hello! My name is William. I am currently a Premed student at UC Merced. Since my college classes are online, I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I not only enjoy taking care of animals, but I have a passion for helping animals. This past summer, I completed an internship at the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter as an Animal Care Specialist. During this internship, I was known as the "cat guy" since my responsibility was taking care of the various cats and kittens at the shelter. I also helped take care of the dogs within the shelter as well. This summer internship has taught me the many skills necessary to take care of both dogs and cats, even in emergency situations. This summer program has not only developed my passion to care for animals, but it was rewarding coming home from a shift knowing that I have helped a dog or cat find their forever home with a loving family.
