Dog walking enthusiast!

Pet care experience

I've always had a dog growing up and they are one of my favorite aspects of life. I have been a reliable source for friends and family as a dog-sitter/walker/house-sitter for several years now. I have plenty of farm experience too, so house sitting for farm animals will be no problem: horses, cows, pigs, goats, and sheep. On top of that, dogs absolutely adore me, I've never had a negative experience with dogs. I am always excited to meet and work with new dogs. I am an aspiring dog trainer, and always looking for experience. I will also be getting a puppy of my own soon, so a dog I am watching should always have a friend. Other than that, a dog that I am watching will always be attentively cared for: fed, walked, and played with regularly. I am looking forward to meeting as many pups as possible!

William watched our puppy Ember over the 4th of July holiday and he did a stellar job. She made a couple new friends in Rue and Finn during their stay and I’m sure she misses them now. William not only took great care of Ember, but of our home as well. Any time I checked I he would be sure to update me on things. Would definitely recommend him for your pet needs and would definitely use him again.

William did a stellar job of caring for our pups and our 4 parakeets. We got home very late and while everyone was happy to see us, it was very clear they all had a great time. Maverick has a new best friend in Ru and I think he was disappointed to wake up this morning and find out she wasn’t here! Thanks to William, we vacationed without worry.

We booked William as a house sitter for a two week vacation. My first impressions of him were very favorable but this was the first time I’ve used Rover or had a house sitter so I was a little nervous. However I didn’t need to be. William was great at communicating and we got multiple pics and videos of our pup during the course of our vacation. We also have a cat who needs regular eye drops due to an autoimmune condition which had flared; he clearly got them as his eye was much improved when we got home. William also took care of our chickens. Our home was very clean and in the same condition we left it in, and he had stripped the bed and washed the sheets before he left. Finally he went above and beyond and even raked our leaves for us! Unexpected but so appreciated. We will definitely book William again in the future if we have an opportunity to and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive home/pet sitter.

William took care of Elwood and Jake and we could tell when we got home that he did a great job. They were so happy. We will be using William again. We were so happy that we didn't have to worry about our two boys while we were away.

A dog under my supervision will never be ignored or neglected, they will be fed on a regular basis, as well as walked. I have a great history as a house sitter as well, so home visits should be of no concern. All in all, I have an extensive history when it comes to dog watching, and you should feel at ease with me watching any pups, whether it be at my house or yours!

A typical day

Park walks, day hikes, and dog store visits are always on the docket! The activity will really depend on the personality of the dog. I typically will play with the dog in some fashion every day. I also have a pup of my own, so a dog I am watching will always have company!

I currently work a part-time job at a physical therapy clinic. I always have the weekends free, and usually one day off during the middle of the week (tue, wed, or thurs). The hours I work do tend to vary, but most of the clinics I work at are relatively slow and should allow for flexibility. I wake up early, so dog walking before work shouldn't be a problem, I actually prefer to start my day that way. Overall, pets should never be alone for too long when they are under my care.
