As a cycling homebody (or is it a homebody who loves to cycle), I’m kind of the best of two worlds in terms of traits belonging to a great dog caretaker. My favorite form of exercise allows me to take your dog almost anywhere and we can explore the outdoors together. I love cycling on various types of bike trails, but I also love to walk. I have many fond memories of going on long hikes with my father, so there’s something zen and nostalgic about the whole activity for me, and being with dogs just makes the walk that much more fun and pleasurable. Nothing gets me smiling more than spending time with our four-legged friends or out biking around, taking in the sights and smells of nature. Otherwise, I’m pretty much a homebody. I work from home and my wife and I enjoy staying in and hanging with our dog named Emoji. He’s basically our son (we only have fur babies around), so I know the anxiety of leaving your beloved family member with complete strangers. Emoji is genuinely one of the friendliest and sweetest dogs––he’s always eager for new playmates––so we would relish the opportunity to have your pup become our new family member, even if for short spell. My wife used to work at NJ shelters when she was in high school and has always had dogs in her life. I’ve always been interested in fostering rescue dogs, so this seems like the first step for a possible full-time career working with dogs. Although I don’t have professional experience, my wife and I are full of love and compassion, and I’ve cared for countless family and friends’ animals since I was a small kid. I love filling our home with as many furry friends as possible, and being a dog dad, I really understand the importance of trust and faith––I hope to provide you with the same sense of confidence that your pup is in very good and capable hands. Your dog’s happiness, health, and safety are of highest concern to me. Since I will be home all the time, your dog will never be left alone. My wife, Emoji, and I can’t wait to meet you.
