A new leash on life
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Billy and I am a life long animal lover/caregiver. My whole life I’ve owned cats and dogs, and in the past have had smaller animals like hamsters and guinea pigs. My family currently fosters cats and dogs and have been for the last several years. I play a big part in taking care of these animals like feeding, picking up after them, playing with them and cleaning litter boxes. I am available all day Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am unavailable Monday and Wednesday afternoons because I volunteer at a place called “Woofgang” making dog treats. Saturday and Sunday I am available all day. I have a fenced in yard in a very quiet neighborhood. I have two very friendly dogs and an easy going cat who gets along great with dogs. I have a mentor who has been working with my family and I for close to a decade who would be there with me at all times. She is comfortable with giving medication to animals if needed.

Billy is one of the biggest pet lovers I know! Not only does he have dogs of his own that he takes great care of, he and his family have been fostering animals for years. I adopted my cat through them and the love and care he showed her was above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. He would send me pictures and updates throughout the process, as well as frequent visits. Billy is very passionate about animals and incredibly responsible and respectful. He’s my top choice for a pet sitter in the future!

I have a good sized fenced in yard in a very quiet neighborhood that is full of friendly dogs (including my own!) When the weather is nice we basically spend all day in the yard playing a lounging, as well as going for walks around town.

A typical day
Definitely walks, there are several nice, quiet and dog friendly hiking trails near me that I take my own dogs frequently. I volunteer at a dog bakery called “woofgang” and can provide tasty homemade treats!

Availability
Currently, my weekday availability would just be Tuesday but I am also available Saturday and Sunday. My volunteer job is twice a week and spend the other weekdays with my friends at an adult day program.
