I have raised, nurtured, and cared for dogs my entire life. Breeds from labs to beagles to dobermans. I recently retired from work and I have been looking to do what I love most. That is be around dogs. What I love most about dogs, and for that matter all animals, they are so honest and unpretentious and each in their own way have a unique personality. At my property, I carved two miles of trails through my 50 acre property for the exclusive use of giving me and my dogs a place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. It is amazing how quickly they learn. They will now stop at each trail junction and look back at me wanting to know which way to go. As my headline said, they are more than pets they are a part of the family.

William B has been caring for dogs as long as I’ve known him, 28 years. He has an intuitive connection with dogs and they sense this and trust him. I have known him to be meticulous in their care, spending a great deal of time with any dog in his charge. He is also excellent at caring for dogs who’ve had trust issues and has adopted dogs from less than ideal/ abusive situations. These situations have required a great deal of time commitment and patience. William has a huge heart for dogs and animals in general. I have personally witnessed their transformations and their absolute devotion and adoration of him. He has been known to sleep near them when they are ill or nearing the end of their days. William is a friend to them. Bottom line, there is not another person I’ve known I would have greater faith in caring for dogs as if they were his own. They will be in excellent hands.
I have known William Butler (Bill) since 1976 while attending the University of Maine. When he was young he had 2 beagles he was responsible for, care feeding & love One beagle had 3 legs which made Bill awesome in his care & love for this beagle. After he graduated he became the parent of his own dogs which have turned out to be very loving dogs and well mannered. We went camping together fishing hiking etc together through out life. In all this time I have always found him to be honest respectful & trustworthy. He would make a great addition to your staff & the dogs he could care for during difficult times pets can sometimes experience. Joseph R. Costa
