Pet care experience
My family always had dogs and cats while I was growing up. We also raised pigs for a time. In my junior year of college I adopted a dog from the local shelter and he is still my pride joy. I care for him with all my heart.

I have a fenced in yard where my own dog can run, play, and use the bathroom. My home is "dog-proof" with doors that close and plenty of space for them to spread out and do their own thing or play with each other. I do not board animals under a year old.

I would like to know how to make their stay and care the most enjoyable it can be for them. I know dogs can get frightened and nervous when they're away from their best friends and loved ones for an extended period of time.
A typical day
The majority of activities will involve the fenced in back yard. The dogs can run and play and fetch and dig, if they're so inclined. I also enjoy taking dogs to any hiking trail or park trail system that allows them!

I mostly work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. I am quite flexible with my hours, so I can warp them as needed.
