Pet care experience
My name is Willa and I have 15 years of dogsitting experience, including puppy care, elderly dog care and experience with special needs dogs. I am a dog foster for Independent Animal Rescue (IAR), although I am not actively fostering at this time. Dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome, I love them all. I am good with enforcing obedience training and tiring out active dogs. I am gentle with older dogs and dogs with special needs. I love giving dogs affection, but only if they are open to it. At this time, I’m looking to dog walk between work meetings (I have a fully remote job). I can also check on cats and house plants. On request, I am available for dog sitting, either at my house, or staying in your space.

As a close friend of Willa's entire family, we have had a chance to watch Willa interact with her family's multiple dogs for most of her life. With that knowledge, we were very comfortable using Willa to care for our two dogs during several week-long trips abroad. And we would do so again without the slightest reservation. She is the best.

A typical day
I work from home and my daily routine is to get 10k steps a day through two long walks a day (morning and afternoon), with a few additional mini walks sprinkled in. I live with my partner who is also very experienced with dogs, and would love to play with your pup. When I dogsit, I adjust my schedule to match the schedule of the pup.

I work fully remotely from home and walk around my neighborhood every day. My work schedule is flexible and it’s easy for me to escape for an hour here and there to go walking outside, maybe with your pup!
