Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and absolutely love them. My 11-yr old shepherd/border collie mix Chewbacca (the black fella in the photos) passed away this past spring. Seriously missing his pooch energy but not sure I'm ready to adopt again yet. I'd love to help care for your doggo. I live in a cozy one-story house on a quiet residential street in Westwood. It's got big windows, lots of fresh air, and is a close walk to Westwood Park. It's a perfect spot for a dog. I work from home, in a house. I get outside for frequent breaks, and I'm close to Westwood park. So if your dog likes walks and the park, he/she's in luck. I'm caring and attentive to animals. They can tell this and gravitate to me. I'm quick to offer reassuring belly rubs, scratches behind the ear, play time, walks, and even hikes if your dog is into it. Chewbacca, my dog who passed away this past spring, was diabetic for 9 years, so I have a lot of experience giving injections and providing attentive care.

Will was fantastic! Quick to respond, easy to coordinate drop off/pick up, and he kept in touch over our dog, Messi’s 5 day boarding with updates/pics on what they were up to and Messi was smiling in every picture :) We will definitely be booking Will again if he’s available next time!
Will was amazing with Clover! During the meet and greet he asked all of the right questions to ensure a smooth stay. Great communication throughout and even got some wonderful photos of Clover on a hike. I would definitely recommend Will and we will certainly be booking him again in the future!

Will was so amazing with jasper who can be very timid and anxious when I leave him. He sent updates all weekend long and took jasper along with him to many activities which is everything a dog owner who takes their dog with them everywhere could want ? jasper is usually so stressed every time I leave him with anyone but he looked so happy and relaxed in all of the photos. Will is great!!!

I'm a short stroll from Westwood Park, and love to walk over there during the day for a lunch break or just to take a couple laps around the park in the afternoon. There's a fenced dog park there if that's your dog's thing. I also hike often (Westridge, Sullivan Canyon, Kenter etc.), so if your pooch likes hikes, more than happy to work that into the program.
