These Dog Days have just started!

Getting to meet and make friends with new pups makes me happy beyond words! It’s one of the main reasons why I decided to become a dog sitter. There just isn’t anything better than getting to make a dog happy. I know how stressful it can be to be away from your best friend for a while, and I’m there to help make that time away as easy as possible. I’m a very active person and love to get outdoors. I’m currently a student, which means that I have a fairly open schedule. I’m a great fit for pups that prefer to spend their time around people or just need a little bit extra love and affection during the day. When I’m not in class, I like to spend my time in the sun (weather permitting!) and explore the city a little bit. I’d love to have a canine co-pilot alongside for the ride! I love to play Ultimate Frisbee and try to get active as frequently as possible. Any pup is more than welcome to come along and play catch as well! Getting out to do that gives me a great opportunity to go out and explore some of the parks that Chicago has to offer. I love exploring the city and have been lucky enough to find some great spots for pups along the way as well. We’ll make sure to get lots of socializing time in together!

Will has watched my dogs for me for over two years (My job requires me to travel). Not only has he ensured my boys are well fed and looked after, walked and even washed, but he has cleaned up after them in sterling fashion whenever an accident occurred. When Sonny was a pup he destroyed part of my Harry Potter DVD collection - Will took the initiative to replace it for me before I returned home (Of course he was reimbursed) Can't recommend him enough.
We've had Will sit for our two dogs- they're spoiled and huge, lol. We know he grew up with dogs, may be that's why he's always done a great job with our 2 strong-willed dogs.

A typical day
My schedule as a student is pretty open, which means that I have a lot of flexibility. How we spend that time is totally up to your pup! I try to listen to the pups that I sit as well as possible. I can usually tell when a dog is getting antsy and needs to go for a walk, so we’ll head out then. But I also like to get an idea for how often your pooch enjoys going out, or if they have any specific regimen that they like to stick to. When we do head out, we’ll make sure to head to one of Chicago’s many fine parks or see if there’s a dog park nearby for some opportunities to make some new friends too!
