I am an experienced lover of all dogs, who has cared for a variety of breeds from Rat Terriers to Blue Healers to Pit Bulls to Great Danes! Whenever I am taking care of someone elses dog, I always try to maintain routines and treat the dog as the owner would. If I am ever unsure about a situation I always ask for input from owner as this is their dog and not mine. I started dog sitting a Golden Retriever when I was 12. I had Great Danes growing up. My 14 year old Mastiff/ Pit Honey Bear passed last year so I quit my 60 hr a week job in fall 2017 (where Honey Bear slept under my desk) and I have been having fun traveling and taking care of friends and family dogs and homes since. I recently have dog sat for a Flat Coat/Golden Retriever, Black Lab, two blue nose Pit Bulls, and a Blue Heeler mix. I currently dog/ house sit a Flatcoat mutt, Watson, for my friend in Tahoe City until August. Watson is the best behaved dog I have ever cared for and has been trained off leash in urban Boston since a puppy. He is very calm, especially for breed, gentle, super friendly and more than happy to have other friendly dogs around! I love going hiking in Tahoe National Forest that is right out my door here at the end of a quiet dead end street. I often take Watson into town for walks and to the lake for swims but he loves chasing squirrels in the woods best! I typically walk 4-10 miles a day with Watson and would love company! We are also happy to come to you!
