Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs in my family for over a decade, and also have raised a puppy from 8 weeks old. I currently help my girlfriend take care of her very energetic young Labrador retriever and at this point I am very used to the energy level that a young dog/puppy has. I have taken care of neighbors’ and family members’ dogs and cats while they were out of town for about 10 years - this encompasses feeding, letting outside, walking, grooming and bathing, waste pickup, and companionship for the pets.

As always, Will takes such good care of our kitties! He always spends time with them and makes sure they're fed.
Will always does great with our kitties. He doesn’t just feed them and leave, he sits there and loves on them for at least 30 minutes. One of our cats had a recent surgery and he offered to visit more times than booked without any extra cost. Highly recommend!

As a dog walker, I understand the importance of allowing your pet to exercise responsibly and safely - this means I will make sure that your dog does not overheat during walks and will carry extra water for your pet with me, I will carry a waste bag at all times, I will not let the dog off leash at all, and I will practice safe street crossing. As a drop-in caretaker, I will always ensure that your pet has water and if required, food and treats. I will respect your home and pets while I provide my services, and will send photo updates and texts to update you about the drop-in visits.

Please let me know if there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of while taking care of your dog (other dog aggression, scared of anything in particular, etc.). I want you and your dog to be as comfortable as can be while providing my services. I can also administer medication if instructions are provided beforehand.
A typical day
I love to exercise and play with dogs, whether it be tug of war, fetch, or walking to the park and around the neighborhood. I understand the importance of exercising your pup and if there is anything specific that they like to do for exercise, please let me know!

I am a graduate student at UofSC, with flexible hours throughout the week. I am available most weekends and am more than happy to drop in to visit your pets multiple times a day if needed!
