Pet care experience
I've owned many dogs in my lifetime, and of different breeds; I've highly trained all my dogs including several service dogs. I've taken care of many dogs for family and friends while they've been on vacation or even for a day or two. I've worked on many dog's behavior problems while in my care by requests of the owner. All the people who have left their dogs under my care have relied on me to properly feed, walk and even trained their dogs. I've trained and worked service dogs in a professional capacity for the US Customs & Border Protection (Homeland Security), up until my retirement, and still train periodically. I have vast knowledge of many breeds behaviors and understand how they think based on their genetic traits.

Best experience ever! It is obvious Wilfredo has a special gift working with and caring for dogs. He has years of professional training experience, and it shows in the care he provided Pongo. It was nice to know my dog was safe, had personal attention and was well cared for. Pongo even came home with some new manners which I greatly appreciate! I highly recommend. Wilfredo was a wonderful sitter for my dog, Linnie Lee!!! He is so knowledgeable with years of experience in training dogs for the military. He patiently worked with Linnie and taught her some disciplines while boarding her at his home for 4 nights recently. He took such good care of her and sent photos and and many videos while we were away. We had no concerns or worries at all while on our trip! We are SO glad we have found Wilfredo as even more than a dependable and incredible sitter, but as a friend! Thank you so much, Wilfredo!!

If caring for a pet in their home, I will visit at least three times a day to feed, walk or let out into their back yard for potty breaks. If the dog is at my home , I will walk at least twice a day, and allow them into my fenced yard under supervision for playtime. They will have some freedom inside my home depending on their training and behavior, however, I will also crate them for a while if I'm busy and not able to attend to them on occasions.

I normally will walk your dog every day, permitting the weather conditions are good. Play tug game, frisbee catch, and ball retrieves. Socialize your dog with neighborhood friendly pets if you wish it be done.

I'm retired and in my home just about every day except when running errands or going to a medical appointment or visiting a friend nearby. I'll probably travel out of state once or twice a year to visit family elsewhere.
