I have been caring for my own pets, as well as those of friend's and family, for over 15 years now. All of my animals in recent history have been special-needs so I have become very accustomed to giving medication (pills, ointments, and injectables) specialty diets, or senior care for animals which have difficulty walking. I believe that dogs need exercise and socialization so I make an effort to walk my own at least three times a day and schedule play dates with other dogs every weekend. I am fortunate in that I work from home and can make accommodations for most schedules throughout the week. Please feel free to reach out even in emergency cases. Thanks. I work from home so I can make accommodations for most of the week. My only exceptions are Wednesday and Thursday evenings and a few hours throughout the week where I have work meetings. These are usually Wednesday and Friday mornings. I live in Shaw next to Flora park and just a few blocks away from Tower Grove Park where I walk my dogs multiple times a day. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and fairly large home where animals have enough room for privacy if necessary. As mentioned before, I work from home so I would always be around if an animal needs extra care. My two dogs are ages 3 and 11 and have good interactions with other dogs but tend to be a little dominant so I would prefer to avoid having them interact with overly anxious pets. Regardless, my wife and I have been making an effort to socialize them more and we have not seen any issues with other dogs at our home.
