Hello! My name is Whitney Throckmorton. I am a 21 year old full-time college student who's seeking an animal sitting and dog walking jobs near Provo, Utah. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. I then started dog sitting at 15 for my neighbors' dog. Throughout the years, I have owned and dealt with many different animals, so if you need a pet sitter to pet sit a different kind of pet, don't be afraid to contact me! I have also watched and read a lot about animals and, specifically, dog behavior to understand all types of breeds and have learned a lot with the many animals I have taken care of on and off this app. I have experience with sick pups, old pups, young pups, and your basic adult pup. I also have experience with taking care of cats and week(s) old kittens. I can do basic grooming for free. This would be things like, giving your pet a bath, clipping their nails, and brushing their hair. I am happy to help with caring for sick animals, administering medication, bathing animals, and basic house training. I am also very comfortable handling and sitting for more exotic animals as well. E.g., Guinea Pigs, Birds, Hedgehogs, Tarantulas, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, reptiles, Axolotls, etc. (Nothing that stings though... sorry!) However, If you are looking for a sitter to care for farm animals (horses, cows, etc.), please find someone else. I can do chickens, though! I try to adapt to each pet/animal and their needs so they are comfortable and happy! I want to get to know your pet and ensure they are well cared for while their owner(s) are away.
