🎆Summer holidays are upon us which means fireworks are bound to go off. I have experience in calming dogs and distracting them while they are scared and unsure about those loud explosions. Holidays can be stressful for everyone especially animals. Rest assured I will be there to distract, calm, care for and love on them while you are away. For clients looking to get their dog an adventure buddy, look no further. I love taking my client's dogs to a variety of trails. I average 1.5-2 miles every 30 mins. I go at whatever pace your animal is comfortable with. If they are eager to explore, I'm down! If they want to sniff and stroll, I'm okay with that too:) Now about me~ Hello! I am new to this area. I joined Rover to help in finding new animals to give my free time & attention to since moving to Maine. I grew up in a family that rescued dogs. I had the pleasure of showering them with love & attention through pampering, play & hiking adventures. Throughout my youth we helped rehabilitate 4 beagles, 2 labradors, 1 husky & 1 lab/husky/german shepard mix. We would train with patience, feed them balanced meals (depending on their dietary needs) & most importantly show them kindness while gaining their trust. In adulthood, my passion for helping animals continued when I adopted a sweet male tabby cat after finding out his owners abandoned him. He would climb trees with me, fetch lil sticks, chase lasers & join me in the shower, knowing I'd wrap him up and cuddle him in a warm towel afterwards. My friends all call on me whenever they need a sitter, knowing that I will go above and beyond to take care of their home & pets. I've taken care of a variety of dogs & cats all ranging in age, size & breed. I also have experience taking care of bunnies, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, a few birds & some fish. I have experience tending to medical care & administering insulin shots. When it comes to your pet/s I will gladly take them on walks, play with their favorite toy, let them out to use the bathroom, change out pee pads, clean litter boxes, pamper with brushing, petting, massaging, gently cleaning off eye crust & towel drying when wet from rain or lake/water play. I enjoy making them feel comfortable, loved and at ease while you are away❤️

Whitney is amazing! She absolutely spoiled our dog while we were on vacation. Whitney provided us with regular updates and great photos. We were also appreciative of how neat she kept our house. We highly recommend her!
Whitney is THE BEST!!! And I don't say that lightly, I've had a lot of great Rover sitters but Whitney was the most communicative and playful with the pups. She let me know when she arrived and left and kept me updated with pictures throughout. I got home to two content, sleepy pups who I know will be super excited to see Whitney again!
Whitney goes over and above to make sure our dog Pumpkin has a great day. We would highly recommend her!!
Whitney has been great with my dog Cappy. She was able to do a meet and greet on short notice and my dog was immediately great friends with her. I am glad to know that she and Cappy are having adventures during the day.

I love playing fetch! Watching them excitedly run, jump & catch makes me smile. I am very active. I love exploring trails/neighborhoods while hiking with your furry companion. I will stimulate them and create a happy, stress free environment while you are away. If there is an activity they enjoy tell me all about it. I want to make this the best experience for them.
