Hello! My name is Whitney, and I’m excited to meet your pet! I’ve been dog sitting on and off for 17 years since I was in high school, through college, and as a young professional for family, friends, and neighbors. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and many breeds including a greyhound, a mini poodle, a shih tzu, a border collie, and adorable multi-breed rescues. I attended annual classes at Midwest Canine Training from age 10-17. After bringing home my own pup, we completed Embark’s Real Life Rover training. My approach to dog walking and sitting is to focus on praise and assurance for all dogs, and I’m especially conscious to encourage dogs who can be shy or nervous. *COVID-19* I have been vaccinated since mid-April 2020.

A typical day
Every dog I’ve cared has that one special activity that always gets their tail wagging. If that’s walking for your pup, I love walking pups around their favorite neighborhood and trails. I’ll send you our walking map and walk time stats. For pups that love fetch, get ready for silly action photos!

Whitney can watch in your home
Availability
I'm available for dog sitting and walks on the weekends. I have my own pup, so I’m not available to stay overnight at your home. My sitting services include a minimum of an early morning, a noon, a dinner time, and a late night visit. I usually stay for 1-3 hours each visit, depending on how long your pup needs to walk, play, and get belly rubs. My pup and I have found our schedule that works for us, and I understand how important keeping that schedule is while you're away. Let me know what your pup's daily schedule is for meals, potty time, and walks. I work full time during the work week, but I'm available in the evenings.
