Hi I’m Whitney! My partner Chris and I have loved raising our 6 year old Dachshund and have wanted a new family member for sometime. Until we can afford it we would love to watch your loved one and treat them like family. We understand every dog has their preferences and restrictions which we will respect. If your dog is active, Chris loves running and going on hikes! Our dog, Lola is kennel trained and if needed can be kept separated for less social guests :) Overnight boarding requires an understanding of the guest doggy’s personality and preferences. Some of our visiting dogs have dietary needs and have endured surgeries which limit them. Understanding these needs allow us give your dog the best experience.

Whitney and Chris provided a safe and fun home away from home for our two little chihuahua-yorkies. The dogs enjoyed walks, snuggles, and exploring their big backyard. Whitney and Chris sent daily photos and updates, which eased our minds while on vacation. Highly recommended!

We like to know about your pet for their (and our own) safety. We would like to understand these characteristics: Dietary restrictions, allergies, play preferences, favorite toys/treats, quantity of food and feeding times, triggers (if any .. some dogs hate brooms vacuums exc.) and really any quirks your dog might have :) every dog is special and we will treat them as such
A typical day
Weekdays are mellow with walks around the neighborhood and sometimes finding a low key trail. We have a large backyard and play fetch and let the dogs roam our fenced back yard.

Availability
We both work from home and available intermittently all day. Our entire property is fenced (dog escape proof) for dogs to be able to roam and relax around the front and backyard. We've found that dogs really enjoy the indoor-outdoor living situation! Our backyard backs into about an acre of woods, so it's a very quiet neighborhood. We really enjoy our walks in the surrounding trails and relaxing in our large backyard to let Lola sniff around and explore.
