Pet care experience
I currently work full time at a Humane Society. Being shelter dogs, there is a wide variety. Little or big. Hairy or not. High energy or low maintenance. Every dog always deserves playing, walks, snuggles and extra treats! I promise to always treat your furbabies like they are my own! Previously I have worked at an enrichment center for five years training shelter dogs to help them become more adoptable. Unfortunately in May of 2022 we closed Encore due to the owners retirement.

Whitney was so great with our dogs! I felt 100 times better about being away from them after our Meet & Greet. She asked very detailed questions and loved on them like they were one of her own. I am so grateful to her and appreciated all the updates and pictures of our babies, it truly gave us peace of mind knowing someone like her was there and they were well taken care of and very happy!
Whitney is great! She was a wonderful sitter and we always felt like Chester was well taken care of! We don’t leave him often but when we do, we’ll definitely use her again!
Whitney took great care of my Buddy and kept me informed (and even sent great pictures) on his daily activities while I was away for over a week, i will definitely hire her again and will recommend her to friends, Buddy really enjoyed his time with Whitney

I have 3 furbabies of my own. Roland is a husky mix who is my old man that goes with the flow. Harmony is a English bulldog mix who is my spicy girl that keeps me on my toes. Lastly Cooper is a coonhound / German shepherd mix who keeps me young and active. I do have a fenced in backyard that they all 3 enjoy! They all love hiking, going for pup cups at Dairy Queen and extra snuggles in the evenings!

Please let me know any important information regarding your pets health and behavior issues if any. I am always interested in hearing the extra details about how to care for your furbabies properly! I want to keep them on the same standard you provide them with on a day to day basis.
A typical day
I would prefer keeping your dogs on the schedule they are use to. I love mental stimulation as well as physical to keep their mind active too! A tired dog is always a good dog! Your furbabies will have plenty of extra treats and snuggles. I promise to love them like my own❤️

Availability
I believe routine is best for every dog. Therefore, I would prefer keeping your dogs on the schedule they are use to! If I can’t meet their needs, I will be sure to let you know ahead of time! With my current schedule I work full time so I’m caring for the shelter dogs Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. Saturday 10am-3pm and Sunday 10am-1pm. Most of my clients are use to being home alone during the day and mainly need someone with them in the evenings and throughout the night.
