Pet care experience
I have owned cats my entire life. And I have sat for and taken care of dozens of others over the years. Five of my cats over the years have been special needs or have required special medication (ie: diabetic, pancreatitis, feeding tube, cancer, etc). So I have a lot of experience with needles, taking blood, giving medication, administering IV fluids, feeding through a feeding tube or with a syringe, etc. I have First Aid for pets from the SPCA - focused on cats but was trained for dogs as well. I love cats and would love to care for and snuggle your fluffs when you aren’t able. My cats seem to like me and my incessant snuggles, so I must be doing something right for the finicky fluff butts!

Unfortunately, I don’t take pets into my home (boarding/day care) as I have a handful of my own. I treat your pets and home as if they were my own - with care and respect. I will always try to tidy up after the pets as much as possible before the stay is over (sweeping, vacuuming, laundry when necessary). My cats are my babies - so I know how important your pet is to you ❤️ They will be fed, watered, litter cleaned, walked (when necessary), played with and cuddled (when they let me 😅). Any medications will be given on time and with care so as not to stress them out and to maintain good health.

I’d like to know their demeanour/personality and the kinds of things they like (play with, eat, etc). Also if there are is any medical history I should know about - whether or not medication is required - so that there are no surprises.
A typical day
If your pet loves to play - I’ll tucker them out with play-time. I enjoy walks as well. I’ll groom when the pet lets me. I’ll trim cat claws (also, if they let me). But my favourite is giving pets and cuddling. Just hanging on the couch and enjoying a good snuggle ?

I currently do Rover/pet-sitting full time, so my schedule is flexible throughout the day for drop-ins, meet-and-greets and House Sitting. I’ll work every day of the week 😊
