Hi, and thank you for viewing my profile! That means I grabbed your attention! My name is Whitney Melancon, a 23 year old college student at Clark Atlanta University. I am from Chicago, IL and usually home for the summer and holidays (available for overnight stays). Throughout the fall and spring I am at college and available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and overnight stays in the Atlanta area. If you have any questions, feel free to request a service for a meet and greet! :) FUN FACTS: I’ve had 20+ animals throughout my life on earth! Recently, I founded an organization on campus called Panthers4Paws, which is an organization that advocates for animals through donations, volunteering, and informational events. I currently hold the position as the founder and president. As you can see, I have a love and passion for animals.

Whitney was a lifesaver! She stepped up to care for our pups during a holiday weekend when we had last minute issues with our previous plans. Our pups were well taken care of, and she was always prompt with responding with updates. We came home to some happy dogs!
Whitney stayed at my house for 7 days with my older cat and younger pup. She did a wonderful job! She was in constant contact and even picked up medication my pup needed from the vet for me. She left my house in better shape than when she got here! Would definitely use Whitney again!

I do not offer boarding at my place. I do offer overnight stays in the comfort of your own home, allowing your animals to feel comfortable and familiar, as well as keeping up with their daily routine.

Before booking, please state any medical issues your pet has, and if your pet is aggressive around other animals, or towards humans. Also, your pet must be updated on it’s required vaccinations (Distemper, rabies, DHPP, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) to avoid the possibility of me bringing these diseases to my doggie. I would also like to know any other concerns, such as anxiety, depression, or psychological differences.
A typical day
I like to take my clients to dog parks and on walks. I love to play fetch with doggies, as well as tug of war. Walks around the neighborhood allows me to know where I am and feel secure.
