Hello fellow pet lovers! My home sits on 3 lovely acres with a creek and lots of room to play. I have 4 wonderful dogs of my own that love to have friends over, but if your dog isn't the playful type, that's fine too! I have ample experience working with animals, as well as a personal life that is full of critters of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and farm animals. I have worked in a vet clinic, for an animal rescue and am experienced in training and working with dogs. I also offer board and train services as well as other training options! During the rainy months, your dog is likely to get a little muddy during their stay. I offer bathing services as well as nail trims! I can also transport animals for an additional cost.

Whit was so sweet and such an animal person. She has a beautiful small farm with well-cared for animals where we were able to buy fresh eggs. She even let my toddler pet the friendly baby goat! Frank loved his stay, got tons of exercise, and we felt VERY comfortable with him in her care. We would hope to be able to have frank stay at “Whit’s Zoo” again soon!

We like to spend our days outside playing! We have 3 fenced acres. If your dog is trusted off leash, it will be allowed to run and play in the creek all day. If your dog isn't trusted off leash, we have tie outs available so your dog can still get lots of playing in. I have worked in rescue and we foster dogs in addition to our dogs and have tons of experience with scared, and anxious dogs. We are happy to accommodate their needs and provide them a quiet safe place if that's what they prefer. I have worked in a spay and neuter clinic so I have ample experience with med administration, both oral and injectable. I also know quite a bit about emergency care.

A typical day
We spend our days outside caring for the the farm animals and playing with the dogs. I can spend hours playing fetch or watching the dogs splash in the creek and run in the field. If your dog loves the beach, let me know! We love an excuse to load up the pack and head to the coast. I also love to take my dogs to the lake and hiking.

Availability
I am transitioning to to being home full time in order to be able to be more present for my children. As long your dog is kid and dog friendly it will be free to spend their days in the house with my family or playing outside when we go outside. If your dog is not good we with other dogs or kids, I have the ability to set up a large kennel with outside access. Your dog will be let outside to run and play throughout the day, when the other dogs are inside. If you need your cat or caged animal watched, I have cat condos and the space to set them up in a separate, stress free area away from the dogs and kids.
