My partner and I are new to Rover, but not at all new to pet and house sitting. We've been caring for people's beloved pets and homes for 7+ years, and have even done several international sits! We love putting all the attention on the pets we look after while their owners are out of town so it feels like they're getting a little staycation while you vacation. Texts/photos are sent during care to keep you updated. We are both working from home, so we are available 24/7. We have a fully fenced front and back yard, live near two parks and love long walks and beach hangs. If your pet isn't into that, we're a-ok to hang out at home and relax together. They totally convinced us about the awesome idea of letting total strangers taking over your house and pets without worrying about anything. They did everything we asked them to do and a little more. Our dogs loved them, our neighbors miss them and we are so grateful for the good work they did. They took care of our swimming pool and measured all the PH, salt and chlorine levels, adjusted accordingly and kept it in perfect condition. They also learned how to back wash the water filter in no time. They cut the grass, harvested bananas, mulberries and papayas and watered all the big and small trees. They even brought some plants back to life! Our dogs followed them for walks through the village and made some new friends on the way as well. Both are very trustworthy, smart and funny.
