Pet care experience
I have my own furry baby at home so I understand the need for a "babysitter" that feels like part of the family. I've been a dog owner my whole life and a pet sitter for almost as long; I got my start watching my neighbors animals while I was still in elementary school because they said I did it most of the time anyway! While going to school I volunteered to help with the dogs at the humane society by taking them on walks and doing some basic training. As an adult I've provided house/petsitting services for families with many diverse pets and needs. I work during the week days but have an extremely flexible schedule to work with. I have recently come back to petsitting after taking some time off to have my kids but am looking to get back into some new bookings now!!

Another great vacation with no worries about my cats. Whitney does what is needed and both cats are calm and not stressed when we get home.
Whitney was great watching our elderly dog and young cat while we were gone for a few days. She even had to deal with our dog having some stomach issues and cleaned it all up for us. She checked in and out with photos each visit and it really put us at ease that they were well cared for!
Whitney watched our antisocial cat and did her best to make him feel comfortable.

I have a special place in my heart for Labrador Retrievers, and currently live with a black lab who has me wrapped around her paw :-) I've owned large, aggressive dog breeds in the past and feel comfortable handling them. However I will not take dogs out of the house (excluding an emergency) if they are aggressive and also bigger than myself. Besides that, I can handle anything!
A typical day
My style depends on the animals I'm watching and their personality and needs. I love to play around with toys, but also having a lazy cuddle day.

**I WORK MON - FRI AND AM UNAVAILABLE THOSE DAYS FROM 7AM - 2PM** I make visits on my to and from work during the week, sometimes with an additional evening visit to put everyone to bed 🙂 Weekend morning visits are usually an hour or so later in the day and can be longer stays.
