Professional animal lover
Pet care experience
I have always had pets as long as I can remember. I had a cocka-poo for 12 years until she passed away, then I adopted a 2 year old Pomeranian who I was able to love for 12 years. I’m now a proud cat mom of two Siamese boys. Growing up I thought I would become a veterinarian but ended up in the medical field helping people but my love for animals is still there. I would love to be able to help out and take dogs for walks or help watch after your pet when you are not able to. I have such a love for any and every animal, I honestly feel that they are one of the family and should be cared for as such. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members. (I am not available during my work hours 8-5 Monday-Friday)
Reviews
Whitney is awesome. Happy to use her again.
5 Stars - highly recommend. We don't commonly leave our cats alone for more than a day so needless to say, we were going to be very anxious when leaving them for a week. Whitney completely erased that concern from our hearts. After meeting Whitney in person before our vacation, we knew she would be a perfect fit for our cats. She understood their personality differences right away and catered to their needs wonderfully. Most notably, our cats have odd eating habits and she navigated those well. She also made sure the litter area stayed clean. I appreciate the extra attention to detail that she followed based on our written instructions for how to care for them. Even in a pinch, Whitney was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our kitties were comfortable while we were away and when we came home it was almost as if we had never left. We also greatly appreciated the cute reports and pictures that Whitney left for us after ever visit. Seeing our cats warm up to her really put our minds at ease. We will be booking Whitney again in the future whenever we need to go out of town.
Whitney was amazing watching our cat for a week! We came home to a happy & healthy pet and got great pictures and reports along the way!
Whitney is the best! She has taking care of our senior kitty many times now and consistently provides great care and detailed updates. We know he’s in great hands when Whitney is taking care of him.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m tend to be overly cautious when it comes to safety of animals. I appreciate detailed instructions if a pet needs special care or if there’s a certain routine that I need to follow in order to keep your pets as safe and healthy as possible.
Information Whitney J. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know any triggers your pet may have, their temperament around other dogs, wild animals, children, etc so I can do my best to distract and keep them safe. Are there any routines in place or commands/release words.
A typical day
I know that stopping to sniff is the most enriching part of a walk for dogs so I don’t rush through them. I want the dog to enjoy their time outside. For cats, I let them dictate what they’d like, if they want to play I will engage with them using one of their toys or if they just want to sit around I’ll give them some space but just provide some attention when it’s wanted.
