As an adoption counselor in the shelter, all of the animals were my babies. I've moved on from the shelter, but in your home, it's still no different: all pets are my babies! I've spent four years in the animal shelter environment as an adoption counselor handling dozens of tasks, all toward the simple goal of making a better life for our animals. I now work as a receptionist at a local animal hospital. Having walked hundreds of dogs with hundreds of different personalities, I'm an experienced dog-walker and handler. I know how to operate a gentle leader, harness, and a slip lead. I'm an experienced cat handler (and lover) too! Most importantly, I know how to handle animals themselves: with patience, love, and care. Your pet is your child; unfortunately life tends to get in the way of being with them as much as you would like (read: every second of every day).
