Pet care experience
I regularly pet and house sit for my friends and family. I have taken care of dogs (little guys and big guys), cats, and birds. I have experience administering routine medication like heartworm pills to reluctant pups.

Whitney has dog sat for me weekly for years and my dog loves spending time with her. She is extremely responsible and has good energy that dogs really enjoy. She is concerned about safety, with a lot of experience hiking in remote areas as well as staying safe in the city during urban walks. She has experience with large dogs and also dogs who are not social with other dogs and does well with both. I would recommend her highly as a pet sitter for anyone who needs one. I have been lucky to have her!

I like to know as much as I can about your pet's personality, likes/dislikes, and habits throughout the day so I can make them feel as comfortable in your absence as possible. I am comfortable administering medication, so let me know if this is necessary and how you normally do it so we can keep medicine time consistent.
A typical day
I love long walks in the woods with plenty of time for your pup to sniff interesting things to their heart's content (within reason!). If your dog is not the outdoorsy type, we can have plenty of adventures close to home. When I'm watching cats, I can read their moods and provide as much play and/or snuggles as they like. I've also been known to read to pets I'm watching if it seems like they enjoy it.
