I love taking care of animals and have been dog and cat sitting/walking regularly since 2019. I have a drive for helping those who simply do not have the time or capability to walk their animals.

Whitnee did a great job watching our Maltese, Lily, as an in-home pet sitter for a long weekend. Lily is aging and isn't the best at making it outside unless good attention is paid to her needs. Whitnee was able to keep all things in check, and I felt completely having her in my home.
Whitnee has watched my dog, Gemma, on multiple occasions when I go on vacation, and she is absolutely great with her. Gemma is a high energy dog who needs a walk every day, and without her walk she can be very annoying. When I get home from vacation I can tell that Gemma is not all wound up, and that she was taken on a good solid walk daily. Whitnee is always very responsive and very trustworthy! Highly recommended
I have not used rover.com, I met Whitnee thru a friend. She has been awesome. She comes to my home and takes care of my dog and 2 feral cats. She was even able to make friends with the cats. She is awesome to have in your home. When I have been on vacation and came back the pets were happy and my home was clean and vacuumed. She has dog sat for both my friend and my son and we love her, so do the pets. She is sweet and honest and kind. I left money on the counter if she needed anything for the pets and when I came home it was still on the counter. I am so happy now to go on vacation and know I don't have to worry anymore about my home or my pets. She is the best!!! I would recommend her to everyone especially for pet sitting and house sitting. and if your dog loves to walk she is excellent at that too!!!

When I care for pets, it is typically in their own homes to make them as comfortable as possible. I strictly follow any protocols given to me by the owner; That being said, I DO NOT walk any dogs without a leash or harness, regardless of whether they can walk without one or not. If permitted by the owner, I love to give treats!

A typical day
I love taking the dogs I walk to a long trail in Birdsboro called Old 82, I also enjoy taking them to Antietam Lake to see the ducks! I enjoy sitting outside in the yard with the dogs I pet sit, and I love getting a new toy for them to play with to keep them busy.

Availability
Pet care is one of my jobs and is a daily priority of mine. I am currently a student studying at Kutztown University, but my free time is typically in the late morning and afternoon, any day of the week.
